A Halifax classic car enthusiast has won the concours at the Citroen Car Club’s Northern Rally for the second year running.
Nick Cooper won this year’s rally with his 1966 Citroen DS21.
The classic car enthusiast is pictured with his trophies for the concours and people’s choice for best car in the show.
Nick won with his 1958 Citroen ID19 in the 2013 show held at Wetherby Racecourse.
He later sold the car to a collector in Japan so he could fund the restoration of his latest winner.
In addition to winning the concours at this year’s show, Nick’s 1966 Citroen DS21 also won the trophy for the people’s choice of best car of the rally.
“To think I have picked up three trophies in two years at a prestigious event like this is fantastic,” said Nick.
“It means even more to me as my Dad, a classic car fan, passed away before the DS21 was finished. I’ll dedicate the win to him.”
The DS21 had not run for 10 years when Nick bought it two years ago.
“To think it might never have run again and is now a concours winner gives me a great thrill,” said Nick.
He plans to show the car at Hebden Bridge Vintage Weekend between August 2-3.
