Halifax-Huddersfield made it four wins out of four this summer with a stunning 24-12 success away to Teesside at Eaglescliffe.
It kept them in pole position in the Yorkshire Inter-District League with matches against Sheffield, Leeds and Bradford to come.
Dave Pullen’s side were expecting a tough match against a Teesside outfit on a winning run and after the morning foursomes it was 6-6.
However, the afternoon singles was something special for the local union as they won nine of the 12 contests.
Attention now turns to Halifax Golf Club on Sunday, August 2 when second-placed Sheffield are the visitors.
Halifax’s Mark Birkett, Bradley Hall’s Elliott Lister, Meltham’s Tom Hunt and Dewsbury pair Dan Hartley and Ben Crowther won both their matches.
