Stainland Lions’ Culpan among the field in Llangollen Fell Race

The race organisers introduced a number of measures to keep everyone safe, including staggered start times to help keep the runners suitably distanced from each other.

David ran well and finished halfway up the field, completing the 17 mile course in 3 hours 6 minutes.
There was almost 3,000 feet of climbing along the route, a torrential rain shower on the final descent, and very claggy underfoot conditions around the 10 mile checkpoint.
David said: “The race was a great success, so hopefully more will follow in Wales soon.”
