Fax swoop for Hull FC’s Harris ahead of clash with York

The 22 year old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Championship rivals York, trained with his new teammates tonight and could be in contention for Sunday’s home game against the Knights.

Harris, a Humberside junior who turned professional with Doncaster before being picked up by Lee Radford’s side, has made 11 Super League appearances.

He played against Fax for York in the final game of 2019 and partnered Australian star Albert Kelly in FC’s pre-season defeat at the Shay in January.

Fax coach Simon Grix had spent most of the closed-season hunting a second half back to play alongside another new recruit, Tom Gilmore.
