Former Halifax Panthers scrum-half signs for Doncaster

The 27-year-old, who is Richard Horne’s first signing of the close season, said: “I’m very pleased, there have been conversations going on for a little while so it’s good to have it all sorted.

“I’ve got a couple of mates at the club who said I would enjoy it here, and once I knew opportunities at Halifax would be limited I wanted to find a new club."

Doncaster's chief executive Carl Hall said: “I’d like to thank Ian Croad and the Halifax club for their assistance in the making the deal happen.
