Halifax RLFC: Juniors benefit from early bird offer

Having confirmed its intention to remain at The Shay Stadium for the 2017 Kingstone Press Championship, the club launched season tickets on Monday, October 3  with a set of innovative '˜Early Bird' offers.

These included a junior ‘Early Bird’ deal allowing under 16s to see every match home and away for around 85p per game.

Becoming a season ticket holder also opens the door for juniors to first pickings to purchase tickets to family events, including the popular children’s Christmas Party in December.

With the club pegging matchday admission to 2016 levels for the initial 11 Championship rounds, fans are guaranteed to save at least 25 per cent on turnstile prices.

Season ticket holders are also promised priority at all-ticket games and cup matches, and many sponsors offer exclusive discounts.

Heritage heroes get recognition

Last week saw the Halifax RLFC Players Association dish out the first of many heritage certificates, which recognise every single man who has proudly played for Halifax RLFC’s first team. A star-studded cast of players flocked from all over the country to Berties, a cosy venue in Elland, where they were reunited with old peers and their accolades were presented to them. The certificates will continue to be handed to players or their relatives at a number of forthcoming events, including a special ‘Heritage Day’ promotion at a Halifax RLFC fixture in 2017.
