FAX have taken the number of contracted players up to 15 after tying loose forward Sam Barlow and stand off/centre Anthony Bowman to new deals.
Twenty two year old Barlow, a product of the King Cross club, has put pen to paper on a two year contract with Bowman, 20, re-signing for a year.
Both players are seen as important components in coach Karl Harrison’s squad and underlines Fax’s intentions to be an even bigger force next season.
“They are two very good young players and we are delighted they have re-signed,” said Fax director Ian Croad.
“We have had to fight off competition from Super League clubs for Barlow’s signature so it is very satisfying that he has agreed to stay with his hometown club where he is clearly very happy.
“Sam has ambitions to play Super League, but the right deal has not come through as far as he is concerned.
“Anthony has made good progress while he has been here and I know Karl sees him developing as a centre.
“He is big, strong and fast and gets involved in the game and will be a very big asset to the squad.”
