Sheffield moved to the top of the Kingstone Press Championship thanks to a 38-22 win at Hunslet on Wednesday night.

Mark Aston’s men moved above Halifax, who have now dropped to third, two points behind, thanks to a six-try win, with Menzie Yere and Quentin Laulu-Togagae both scoring twice.

Tom Armstrong, Scott Turner and Dane Straugher got the other tries.

Leeds’ dual-registration centre Jimmy Keinhorst got a brace for Hunslet, whose other four-pointers went to Liam Welham and Lee Mapals.
