Siddal coach Gareth Greenwood said he is “running out of things to say” after last week’s home loss to Myton in the Premier Division of the National Conference.
The Hull side overcame an 18-4 deficit after 45 minutes to snatch victory at Chevinedge after a performance Greenwood labelled as “embarrassing”.
“I am running out of things to say; the overwhelming theme is that we were disgraceful in that last half hour,” he said.
“They’re not a great side by any means and I think they were surprised to get the result in the end because I don’t actually think they believed they could do it.”
Siddal travel to Thatto Heath tomorrow, with Greenwood admitting he is questioning everything about his preparation.
“I need to have a good look at what I’m doing and see if there’s anything we need to change,” said the former professional.
“I’d like to say I am confident of getting a positive reaction tomorrow, but at the moment I can’t have that confidence.”
