Ovenden coach Gareth English has urged his side to bounce back from their derby loss to Elland when Castleford Panthers visit Four Fields tomorrow.
English rated last week’s reverse as the “worst we have played” since he took charge at the start of the this season.
“It was disappointing, to say the least, we were just really poor,” said the former Keighley prop.
“The frustrating thing for us was that they were still there for the taking, even though we didn’t perform.
“In the end though, we didn’t deserve anything out of the game.
“Hopefully, we can pick out our second win tomorrow.”.
Ovenden will be boosted by the re-signing of hooker or half back Ben Lister.
