Winger Liam Manning crossed for four second half tries as Elland put a half century of points past their shell-shocked visitors.
Elland opened up in fine style with storming runs by props Ben Bottomley and James Fairbank and it was the latter who provided veteran Junaid Malik with a neat pass for him to score, Phil Taylor converting.
The hosts continued to pull all the strings and crossed again with man of the match Jack Fairbank the next over, taking the ball from the base of the scrum 20 metres before powering his way through the Askam defence for an unconverted try.
There was still time for Elland to add further points before the break when a flowing move down the left saw Dean Bishop cross. Taylor converted for a 16-0 half time lead..
Manning then set the game alight with two quick tries, the second converted by Taylor.
There was no let up for Askam as Elland’s new signing Daniel Fox came on and his powerful runs led to lively half back Bradley Radcliffe scoring from 30 metres out, again converted by Taylor.
Youngster Tom Harnett was next over, carrying three defenders over with him. Taylor converted from the touchline before Manning finished the scoring with two well taken long range tries,Taylor adding one more goal.
