They are Tamsin Curror (clarinet), Ben Lawrence (viola) and Ailie Kerrane (piano).

Featuring in this concert will be Mozart’s delightful ‘Kegelstatt trio’ - the ‘skittle-alley’ trio, so named as Mozart is reputed to have scribbled it down whilst at a skittle alley. Who says musicians can’t have fun?!

The programme will include music by Bruch, Poulenc and Peter Maxwell Davies.

Antony will play Beethoven’s C minor piano sonata no 5 - a ‘dry-run’ perhaps for his great ‘Pathetique’ piano sonata which followed a little later.

This informal concert will take place at the Central Methodist Church in Todmorden (Feb 27 at 7.30 pm).

As usual admission is free and refreshments will be provided.

A retiring collection will be taken.
