Organist Ryan Edwards returns to the Rex, Elland for this month's concert (Sunday July 17, 2.30pm), when he will be playing his own Yamaha EL900 organ.
Although only in his early thirties, Ryan has given over 600 concerts in the British Isles. He started performing publicly when he was 14 apearing as a junior at the National Electronic Organ Festival. He first appeared at the Rex in 2002. He has made several commercial recordings and several of his tracks have featured on Nigel Ogden’s radio programme The Organist Entertains.
“Our audience has always adored Ryan,” said Charles Morris, proprietor of the Rex. The concert begins at 2.30pm and ends approximately 4.30pm. Refreshments will be served in the interval and a short film novelty will be included in the programme. Admission is £5.50 for everybody.
