Also on stage for an evening of acoustic music are G&T - a husband and wife duo whose female half is also a former Workshop member and will soon be appearing in the Studio Group’s production of Sexual Perversity in Chicago, which runs from March 15 to 19.

Rounding off the line-up is Chris Booth, whose sets rarely venture outside the 50s and 60s.

LiveMusic@TheWorkshop is a regular fundraising evening for the Actors’ Workshop Youth Theatre, a registered charity presenting acoustic acts from all over the country in the Workshop’s cabaret style theatre.

Tickets for the evening are £6, available on the door (The Workshop, Back Victoria Street, Halifax), which opens, along with the Bar, at 7pm. The first act will be on at 8pm. To find out what else is on at The Workshop visit www.actorsworkshop.org.uk
