It’ll be a storm in a pint pot at the Hebden Bridge Beer and Cider Festival

Punters will be hopping mad from noon on May 2 and 3 as the Town Hall, Saint George’s Street, serves up an array of tantalising beers and ciders over the Tour de Yorkshire weekend.

Hebden Bridge Town Hall director, Amy Leader, said: “We want to celebrate our local beer and work with the three breweries closest to us by holding a beer festival to champion our favourite brews.”

Bridestones Brewing, Little Valley Brewery, and Slightly Foxed Brewing Company will showcase their beers and ciders.

Sue Cooper from Little Valley Brewery, said: “All the breweries involved in this beer festival celebrate our Yorkshire location.

“We promote the use of Pennine water in our brewing as its part of what makes our beers unique.”

Bridestones Brewey’s Martin Ogle, said they’re looking forward to meeting local supporters.

Simon Trapp from Slightly Foxed Brewing Company, said: “Before I started brewing I was a landlord in Hebden Bridge for a number of years. It’s great to getback behind the pumps and chat to our drinkers.”
