Jane has scent of success
Halifax-based artist Jane Austin has been shortlisted in the top 50 artists, out of thousands of entries, for the Artist of the Year 2015 awards by the national Artists & Illustrators Magazine.
Jane’s painting ‘Smell the Roses’ has been selected to be hung alongside another 49 works at the Mall Galleries, London, from February 22 to 27.
The overall winner will be announced at the gallery during a champagne reception on February 23.

Hide AdJane, who has built a reputation locally for watercolour painting and teaching over the last 18 years said.
“A lot of hard work and persistence has led to this wonderful opportunity, I couldn’t be more chuffed. This is the first time that I have exhibited in a prestigious London gallery.”
