Just Wicked show is heading north

What an amazing coup thatWicked, the West End and Broadway musical phenomenon telling the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, chose to drop in on the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford for five weeks - the only UK venue to stage it outside London in 2016.

The cast has now been announced as Jacqueline Hughes (Elphaba), Carly Anderson (Glinda), Bradley Jaden (Fiyero), Steven Pinder (The Wizard and Doctor Dillamond), Kim Ismay (Madame Morrible), Iddon Jones (Boq), Emily Shaw (Nessarose) and Jodie Steele (Standby for Elphaba), who will lead the cast when it comes to the Alhambra Theatre, (and on its subsequent international tour).

An amazing 25,000 tickets have already been sold and the theatre advises for best availability to look at Sunday matinees (2.30pm) and midweek performances, with tickets starting from just £21.50 (plus fees).

Wicked, which features the hit song Defying Gravity will open at the Alhambra on Wednesday, July 20 and play for five weeks only, until Sunday August 21.

This critically acclaimed, multi record-breaking touring production will then travel directly to the MasterCard Theatres at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, where it opens on September 29.

Wicked will then continue touring internationally until January 2018.
