Lynne's colourful view of Pennine countryside

Lynne Dobson spends her working days encouraging young artists to express themselves as a teacher at Peel Park Primary School in Bradford.

But she also creates her own pieces, centred around the landscapes of Yorkshire and her current exhibition Original Paintings by Lynne Dobson is on show at The Town Hall in Hebden Bridge.

Lynne joined the ARTbound Community in 2014 as part of their creative agency, and has been able to expand her portfolio, build awareness of her art locally and exhibit in a number of locations around West Yorkshire.

Lynne works with acrylics on canvas and occasionally pencil and/or pen and ink. Lynne doesn’t have one particular style as her art tends to be influenced by a sudden idea or mood.

Curators of the exhibition want people to make the journey to Hebden Bridge not only to see Lynne’s excellent work but to support the town as it gets back on its feet following the devastating Boxing Day floods last year.

Original Paintings by Lynne Dobson will be on show at Hebden Bridge Town Hall, St George’s Street until Monday, February 29.
