Mexican band's good time vibes


The three-piece band will be in action at the Blind Pig, Sowerby Bridge, on Saturday, July 23, promoting new songs from their forthcoming album ‘The Re-Evolution’.
Zenith Nadir plays an eclectic mix of electronic rock with Latin rhythms, including salsa, mariachi, danzion and banda, and combining electric violin, keyboards, bass guitar and vocals.

Hide AdThe band is fronted by Selina Marshall from the UK on electronic violin and she is joined by Alex de la Rosa and Emmanuel in a dynamic futuristic musical trio. Alex writes the lyrics with all three members contributing ideas for songs.
All the band’s albums have distinctive and colourful artwork drawn by Beverley artist Kathy Marshall.
Zenith Nadir has made three tours of Mexico and the UK, where they have performed extensively in Yorkshire.
On July 3 the band was in action at a special Armed Forces Day event in Beverley to commemorate the involvement of Mexican airmen supporting the allied forces in the second world war.
The band has been praised for its colourful and catchy music - ‘it makes us feel like every day is summer’, was one comment.
