Prepare for take-off on Runway 2016

All good things come in threes as the saying goes and anyone attending last year's Runway final - our third annual competition for aspiring models - cannot have failed to be impressed by those who took part.

Nineteen-year-old under-graduate Chloe Lockley-Middleton was a popular winner following in the footsteps of Isla Rowe (17) in 2013 and Dita Krona (26) the following year.

The 2015 event was a resounding success, watched by an audience of approaching 100 at a special catwalk show at Harveys Department store in Halifax.

Now along with our event-partners Harveys and Morton Gledhill- The Fashion Team we are looking for entrants to this year’s competition.

As previously, there are fabulous prizes for the winner including a £250 voucher to spend at Harveys plus a goody bag, a fashion shoot with a Courier photographer to help start an all-important portfolio and an introduction to modelling course with co-sponsor Morton Gledhill - The FashionTeam, the Huddersfield based model agency.

Bernadette Gledhill, managing director of Morton Gledhill, said: “All the girls who won have done brilliantly. This really is a wonderful opportunity for young women who would like to see if they have what it takes to be a model.”

Once again the finale will be a part of Harveys’ Spring and Summer fashion launch.

A casting will then take place and the lucky finalists will be invited to take part in the Harveys fashion event at the end of March when a winner will be chosen(all dates and times will be revealed over the next few weeks).
