Built in 1889 it embodies those features which make Victorian venues so special – ornate ceilings, wood panelling, marble columns - and still boasts its original stained glass windows.

Add to that its homely atmosphere, great sight-lines, space and acoustics and you have a venue enjoyed by the audience and musicians alike.

New Resident Musical Director, Leigh Baker, will be in charge and judging by the reaction to his first appearance in front of the band in Brighouse on December 12 the audience is in for a treat.

His forte is ‘entertainment’ and there are sure to be plenty of smiling faces.

Tickets will be available at Ryecorn Wholefoods, Bethel Street, Brighouse from 10 am until noon on Saturday January 30.
