Two local artists reveal differing styles at show

Local artists, Carol Ann Trustlove-Smith and Jack Jarman are exhibiting their work at Todmorden Information Centre throughout February.

Each artist has their own individual style and the exhibition offers a wide variety of original acrylic paintings from around the world together with traditional and oriental landscapes.

Carol Ann’s exhibition, entitled “Last Chance to See”, is her last for a while as she is moving away, but she will continue to visit Todmorden and draw inspiration from the area she has lived in for many years.

Jack has exhibited his works at the Platform One Gallery where, for the past 12 years, he has run workshops every Tuesday instructing newcomers and established painters in the art of watercolour. Jack has inspired many new amateur artists attending his groups at the gallery.

The exhibition is free of charge and the Information Centre is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
