We have five pairs - worth more than £300 - to give away in our free-to-enter competition to see a band that perpetuates Beatlemania, approaching 50 years after the Fab Four finally called it a day.

The band arrives in Halifax on March 14 in a year that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the pivotal album Revolver - widely acknowledged as the record that redrew the map of popular music.

It was also the year of The Beatles’ final public performance at Candlestick Park, San Fransisco.

Since their inception in 1980, The Bootlegs have played hundreds of gigs around the world, earning themselves an amazing repution along the way.

George Martin himself described the Bootleg Beatles experience as “a terrific show” (and he should know!)
