Makepiece, the Todmorden-based fashion house has launched its Autumn Winter 2013 collection.
Photographer Clare Chojnowski was on hand to record the occasion and make beautiful images of its customers and friends trying the new pieces.
“It’s was a delight to be able to show exactly how well our collection can be worn by discerning women, whatever stage of their life they’re at!’
said Beate Kubitz, co-founder of Makepiece.
Chiarascuro, Makepiece’s Autumn Winter 2013 collection uses light and dark to create flattering lines and shapes.
From stunning showpiece skirts to practical and warm knitted dresses, this collection knits a magic spell of illusion using light and dark to illuminate the shapes women love and dim the bits they don’t.
“This is a truly womanly collection, celebrating the feminine form and loving the limelight,” said Nicola Sherlock-Windle, designer and co-founder of Makepiece.
The business was established in 2004 by Nicola andBeate Kubitz and has since branched out to Buxton, Derbyshire where the launch was held.
The label produces two seasonal collections a year, a classic range of accessories including unique innovative knitted shrugs and a collection of knitted wedding dresses, shrugs and capes.
