One of Calderdale’s best known restaurants will unveil a brand new look and revised French menu at a charity event to mark its 20th birthday celebrations next month.
La Cachette, on Huddersfield Road, Elland, will close on August 22 to undergo an extensive programme of refurbishment that will see it re-branded as La Cachette Bistrot.
Work will include in a redesigned art nouveau inspired interior and exterior, as well as newly created menus focussing on the restaurant’s strong French heritage, that will be unveiled at a charity re-launch evening on Thursday, September 10.
The restaurant has partnered with Huddersfield based Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice for the event, and will donate one hundred percent of the cost of all tickets sold for the evening directly to the charity.
Glenn Futter, head chef at La Cachette, said: “The care and support that the Forget Me Not team deliver for families across West Yorkshire is invaluable, and we are delighted to be partnering with them to raise vital funds at our re-launch evening.”
Earlier this year, La Cachette was recognised as one of the top eateries in Calderdale by the prestigious Harden’s restaurant guide, after achieving a four star rating in its UK Restaurant Survey for 2015.
Tickets to the re-launch event cost £22.95 and include a choice of three courses from the restaurant’s Menu du Jour, plus coffee.
There will also be a chance to win a variety of prizes on the evening.
