A church and a post office teamed up to deliver festive cheer at a carol sing-along in Skircoat Green.
Organised by parishioners at All Saints’ Church, the annual event attracted 30 carol singers to Skircoat Green Post Office, where owners Brodrick and Heather Rigg had put up a Christmas tree and gave out free mince pies and mulled wine.
Mr Rigg said: “It’s something they do every year. It pulls a bit of festive cheer in and brings the community together. It’s a good local event.”
Meanwhile, Jason Byrne, owner of Connections hairdressers, had arranged for Christmas lights to be put up.
