The countdown to the festive period has started at Square Chapel Centre for the Arts in Halifax with a fantastic line-up of shows through December.
Tickets are selling fast for this year’s fun-packed family show, The Wild Adventures of Robin Hood by Sticks Theatre - the story of the hooded man as you’ve never seen it before. It runs from December 16-24. Tickets are £12 (£10 concessions) with family tickets available.
There’s more family entertainment in store with the enchanting Hans Christian Andersen’s tale, Princess and the Pea on December 7 (2.30pm). Music fans can enjoy BBC award-winning fiddle player Tom McConville and Scottish guitar virtuoso Andy Watt on Dec 4 (8pm).
And on Dec 14 don’t miss Belshazzar’s Feast (7.30pm) - a real pot pourri of entertainment. One of Britain’s most important chamber music ensembles the Orlando Consort perform Music and Feasting in Renaissance Europe – a grand celebration of medieval music – on Dec 5 (7.30pm).
