Mytholmroyd Marmaladies are calling all knitters and theatre goers to enjoy a thrilling yarn .
The Marmaladies are delighted to present LipService Theatre for a special performance of the sell-out show ‘Inspector Norse’ on Tuesday, July 23.
The new version, specially adapted for the Edinburgh Festival, will be performed at St Michael’s Hall, Mytholmroyd, and is an hour long with no interval.
‘Inspector Norse’ is billed as a “self-assembly Swedish crime thriller” from award-winning comedy duo Maggie Fox and Sue Ryding of LipService, described by The Independent as “Britain’s favourite literary lunatics”.
And they promise the production will have you in stitches as it’s a Nordic noir comedy featuring a knitted set, a seventies pop band and some drunken moose. And “that” jumper! Doors open at 7pm for an 8pm start.
Tickets are £10 for the general public and £8 for WI members. Call 07515 356539 to reserve your tickets and to knit for the show, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Janet Warne of the Marmaladies said: “I’m over the moon and feel it’s a real coup for our village and the WI.”
