Audience favourite Rob Rouse returns to Hebden Bridge Comedy Club on Sunday, May 10. Described as a ‘latter day Stan Laurel’, he has appeared on numerous TV shows including ‘8 Out of 10 Cats’ and ‘Celebrity Juice’ and often fills in for Clint Boon on XFM Manchester. An Edinburgh Festival regular, he was a geography teacher before turning to comedy and started his career in TV as a ‘warm-up’ on the hit BBC sitcom ‘Coupling’, where he entertained the studio audience between filming. Joining the line-up will be Vikki Stone, whose unique mix of stand-up and music has made her one of the fastest rising stars on the comedy circuit. She has also appeared in ad campaigns for Yakult, Fiat and Tena Lady. Expect plenty of laughs from the girl with the big voice. Brighouse lad Jack Carroll, runner-up on ‘Britain’s Got Talent, will complete the line-up. The show starts at 8pm at the Old Gate pub, Hebden Bridge. Tel: 07874 152338.
