Meet Olivia Judge and Toby who take starring roles in the Stage Door Studio Theatre Workshop up-coming production of perennial Hollywood favourite Annie.

The sun will be coming out at Halifax Playhouse from September 18 to 20 (7.15pm start) and a matinee on the Saturday at 2.15pm.

The musical is presented by Anne Redfern and Janet Fletcher and tells the story of Annie, a feisty young orphan girl who must live in a miserable orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan.

Her seemingly hopeless situation changes dramatically when she is selected to spend a short time with the wealthy industrialist Oliver Warbucks. Annie soon makes an impression on the hearts of the household and even the apparently cold-hearted Warbucks, who also learns to love this charming little girl.

With a cast of students aged from five to 17 years of age and well known songs including “Tomorrow” and “Hard-Knock Life”, this is a “must see” musical for all the family! For tickets email: or call 01422 200334.

lDon’t miss next week’s My Week for a great Annie competition and the chance to win a pair of tickets.
