From markets to light switch on ceremonies, here are some of the Christmas events taking place in the borough this year.
13. Santa’s Grotto in Mytholmroyd and Hebden Bridge
There will be a Santa’s Grotto in Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd in December. It will be at Mytholmroyd Community Centre on Sunday, December 6 from 11am to 3.30pm and Hebden Bridge Town Hall on Saturday, December 12 from 11am to 3.30pm. 14. Halifax Borough Market’s Christmas Markets
Taking place on Saturday, December 5 and Saturday, December 12 there will be Christmas markets in The Albany Arcade at Halifax Borough Market. Stalls will sell a variety of items including award-winning pies, cheese, chocolates and much more. Photo: Charles Round
