Peppa Pig lends trotter to shoppers

A VERY important pig dropped by to lend a trotter to a supermarket’s fundraising effort.

Peppa Pig met shoppers at Asda, Thrum Hall, to raise money and awareness for the Tommy’s.

The store are currently discounting baby products and donating money to the charity, which looks into pregnancy problems.

The children’s TV character met families and young shoppers and helped staff towards their £500,000 target.

She met fans including Jacqui Burns and her sons Charlie Hoyle, two, and Alfie Hoyle, five.

Tommy’s funds internationally-renowned research into pregnancy problems and provides free information about pregnancy health to parents-to-be.
