Calderdale Council is committed to promoting good mental health and wellbeing in the borough and is raising awareness of the support available to minimise the mental health impacts of COVID-19.
Calderdale Council’s Director of Public Health, Paul Butcher, said: “It’s vital that everyone follows national guidance and stays at home, but there are lots of ways to support your own health and wellbeing whilst social distancing.

“I also find it helps to focus on the positives of individual situations with what’s known as having an ‘open mindset’. For example, rather than feeling ‘stuck at home’ focus on being safe at home or seeing it as an opportunity to spend more time with family. It really can help.”
If you're feeling concerned or overwhelmed by the news around COVID-19, it's understandable.
With the help of Calderdale Couoncil we've gathered a list below to help you support your mental health and wellbeing.
