Calderdale-born singer Ed Sheeran triumphs at Grammy Awards
After years of being nominated without taking home an award, Ed got his moment in the spotlight when he scooped two of the prestigious music awards.
The singer, who was born in Hebden Bridge, collected Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance with his hit song Thinking Out Loud.

Hide AdTaking to the stage to collect his Song of the Year award, he dedicated his award to his parents, who he said had “flown out to the Grammys for the last four years” and “Every year they say… ‘maybe next year.”
He also honoured music legend Stevie Wonder, who presented him with the award for his song-writing.
