Coach driver taken to hospital after M62 lorry crash
The Western Area Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support Team (SRANS) would like to speak with anyone who saw or has information about the incident which took place at about 3.08am on Saturday July 16 on the M62 westbound just before the exit slip road at junction 22.
It took place after a single decker coach and a Volvo HGV were in collision in lane one of the westbound carriageway.

Hide AdThe coach has been travelling behind the HGV when the incident occurred.
The 36-year-old male coach driver was taken to a hospital in Salford for treatment to serious leg injuries.
The lorry driver, meanwhile, was treated in hospital in Oldham for whiplash type injuries.
One passenger on the coach required some treatment at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary for minor injuries. The other nine passengers were uninjured.

Hide AdThey were taken to a police station in Halifax where alternative transport was arranged for them.
Diversions were put in place between junctions 22 and 24 of the M62 westbound while emergency services attended the scene and recovered the vehicles.
