“Making our communities safer, and feeling safer, is a priority across the Force and we want to hear from residents about their involvement with local teams and how we can improve the service we provide on the ground.”
The previous webchats in the series looked at drugs issues and becoming a police volunteer, and were very successful, with one attracting 160 questions.
Future topics lined up, all with a 7pm start, include:
• Monday July 22 - Euro-cylinder Burglary
• Monday August 5 - Bringing Offenders to Justice.
The discussions use a free “Cover it Live” discussion system, already regularly used and established by West Yorkshire Neighbourhood Policing Teams for their “ePack” online community meetings.
