Fatal stabbing victim Jamie Brown's funeral crowdfunding page passes £1,500 mark
Detectives are continuing with their murder investigation after teenager Jamie Brown died from stab wounds following a ‘disturbance’ on Saturday night at a house in Lee Mount.

On the page he said: “As many of you may know, a young, innocent, kind hearted lad named Jamie Brown sadly lost his life to a horrible attack involving weapons.
“The life and passing of young Jamie has affected everyone in the small town of Halifax, West Yorkshire and I would like to ask everyone to carry on spreading their love for little Jamie Brown and has family and to donate willingly to help cover the costs for Jamie to have the send off he deserves.”

Hide AdWest Yorkshire Police’s Homicide and Major Enquiry Team (HMET) said the incident took place in East Park Road, shortly before 9.30pm. A report was made that a male had been stabbed.
Officers attended and found two males with stab wounds and a third with a head injury. Police released information that one of the teenagers, later confirmed as Jamie Brown, sadly died a short time later. The injuries to the other two males are not believed to be life threatening and both are said to be in a stable condition.
Three 17-year-old males were arrested on suspicion of murder on Saturday night. Detectives arrested a further three males - aged 16,16 and 14 - on suspicion of murder.
All six males arrested in connection with the incident have been released pending further enquiries.
