Murder accused fails to appear on court video link
A man charged with the murder of a known sex offender refused to appear in court today.
David Anthony Mitchell is accused of killing 46-year-old Robert Edward Hind, who went missing from Dewsbury in December.
He did not appear on Leeds Crown Court’s video link to Armley Prison this morning.

Hide AdMitchell is said to have murdered Mr Hind at Manchester Road in Huddersfield on December 11.
The recorder of Leeds, Peter Collier QC, advised Robert Davey, prosecuting, that Mitchell should appear at his plea and case management hearing on February 26.
