Letter: It's about time park problem was rectified
I have just read in last week's newspaper (June 15) that Todmorden Carnival has been fined £400; money which would have been donated to charities.
The Todmorden Agricultural Show has had to move out of Todmorden.
All of this because the ‘flood relief’ work on Todmorden Park is evidently not fit for purpose.
It is about time this problem was rectified and then our park could be used multi-purposely by Todmordians and visitors alike.
Something needs doing.
