Calderdale schools receiving Sats results today
The exams tested 10 and 11 year-olds in reading, maths and spelling, punctuation and grammar in May.
The tests have proved controversial. A recent poll by National Education Union found that 97 per cent of the primary school teachers who responded wanted them scrapped.

The Greetland Academy Trust schools which include The Greetland Academy and West Vale Primary School said it is very proud of its pupils' end of year test results .
Fiona Gardiner, Principal at West Vale Primary School, said: “Since joining the trust, our combined test pass rate has more than doubled. I am just elated with these results and so proud of our teachers and children.”
Helen Crowther, Principal of The Greetland Academy, said: “I am super-proud to lead a school with such high-attaining results! What a lovely way to end my first full year at Greetland. Pupils and teachers, you are fabulous!”
