Harrogate district elections: updates from the count
From Bilton to Knaresborough East, Ripon Minster to Woodfield, 19 wards are up this year.
In the wake of the general election, completed in Harrogate in the early hours of this morning, when Conservative Andrew Jones held the seat and increased his majority, local candidates are anxious to see what results will turn out to be on a district level.

Bilton: Lib Dem hold - 1,239 votes
Granby: Lib Dem hold - 1,090 votes
Harlow Moor: Conservative hold - 1,734 votes
High Harrogate: Conservative hold - 1,517 votes
Hookstone: Lib Dem hold - 1,467 votes
Knaresborough East: Conservative hold - 955 votes
Knaresborough King James: Conservative hold - 1,295 votes
Knaresborough Scriven Park: Conservative hold - 1,411 votes
Low Harrogate: Conservative hold - 1,484 votes
New Park: Lib Dem hold - 995 votes
Pannal: Conservative hold - 2,122 votes
Ripon Minster: Conservative hold - 783 votes
Ripon Moorside: Conservative gain - 790 votes
Ripon Spa: Conservative hold - 1,337 votes
Rossett: Conservative hold - 2,268 votes
Saltergate: Conservative hold - 1,321 votes
