Hide AdFund-raiser Lauren Ingram said: “We are so honoured that Daisy and Sophia could take time out of their busy schedules and summer holidays to be part of Overgate’s imaginative and emotional event.
“Overgate Hospice invites everyone to dedicate a ribbon to someone special who has added colour to your life. The fund-raising event will take place on Sunday. We hope that we can raise more than £12,000 from the Ribbons event to make sure that our care continues looking after people in Calderdale.
“The donated ribbons will be tied around the trees and shrubs in a colourful display in the hospice garden, with a chance for people to view these in a special day of commemoration.”
The day will start at 11am and finish at 4.30pm. Organisers hope that this event will once again capture the imaginations of the people of Calderdale and they will like to dedicate a ribbon.

Hide AdLauren added: “We are delighted that both Daisy and Sophia want to support our event. It is very important that young people are aware of the hospice movement as children are the fund-raisers of the future.
“This is the sixth year that the hospice has organised this wonderful day which gives everyone the chance to dedicate a ribbon to someone special.”
