Brighouse town centre road closures in place after car crash involving police

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious crash on Bradford Road, Brighouse.
At 1.07am today (July 17) a car containing two men was involved in a collision in the town centre.

Hide AdA spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Due to the involvement of a police vehicle in the circumstances leading up to the collision, the incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
"A scene and road closures are in place in Bradford Road and are likely to remain in place for some time."
The men believed to be in their 20s, have since sadly died. Their next of kin have been informed and the The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is now investigating the incident.
