VIDEO: care home’s exotic adventures
Residents at Langlea House Care Home, Hipperholme, took a walk on the wild side when a mobile safari - including a python, corn snake, skunk and bearded dragon - made a special visit.
One resident was even brave enough to hold a python around her neck.
Steve Wood, activities co-ordinator at the home, said: “It was really good. A lot of the residents were interested. It was something completely different to the usual and it brightened their day and made it a bit more interesting for them.”
