VIDEO: Sainsbury’s proposal rejected at Calderdale Council planning meeting
A motion was carried to reject the Sainsbury’s supermarket proposal on the grounds that the application did not provide adequate information about how deliveries would be made safely down the narrow and congested road.
Members of the planning meeting heard arguments from both sides about the proposed £1.5m Sainsbury supermarket development that would have been situated on the former Hebden Bridge Fire Station site on Valley Road.
