Martin Scrimshaw’s side won the under 14s competition last year and their coach pitched them back in against year-older opposition to give them some tougher competition.
They proved up to the task, taking control against tough and resilient opponents in the sunshine.
West Hull were quickest out of the blocks, taking the game to Siddal and it was no surprise when they took the lead on four minutes through centre Robbie Storey.
