Kieron Cassidy appeared at Calderdale Magistrates Court this week in relation to the events that happened in Ovenden Way, Ovenden last Friday.

A police spokesperson said last week that armed police attended the scene and began negotiations with a man, who appeared to brandish a sword and a handgun at officers from an upstairs window.
