Man left with facial puncture wounds after Harrogate dog attack
The male was attacked by the large white dog whilst walking home across the fields adjacent to Kinglsey Road near Harrogate High School at 4pm on Saturday 19.
The ‘dangerously out of control’ dog bit the male on his face, puncturing his left eye nose and lip before being taken to Harrogate Hospital.

Hide AdHe was later discharged after receiving stitches to his injuries. Police are now conducting enquires to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police are still trying to trace the owner of the dog and are also appealing for any information from the public who may have witnessed the attack.
