Halifax 4-0 Bradford Park Avenue: Fans Panel verdict
Kit Walton
Man of the match
Danny Hone; he treated this game like a football match, not like a wrestling match, and he looked far better for it. Overall, the whole team looks to have benefited from the latest changes in personnel.
Moan of the match
On the pitch, nothing particular to moan about. Off it, neither side’s drummers were of the expected standard.

Hide AdThe fourth goal. It came from flowing football, which is what the fans want to see.
Andrew Mann
Man of the match
Jordan Sinnott. Dangerous long throws that caused problems for the Bradford Park Avenue defence, pick of the goals again and overall solid display.
Moan of the match
Despite the scoreline the style of football still wasn’t great. Many people questioning if we’d beat better sides playing in the manner of yesterday’s game.
Moment of the match
Jordan Sinnott cuts in with a dummy before curling his effort into the far side of the goal to put Town 4-0 up.

Hide AdScott Garner, even though he didn’t have a lot to do, didn’t put a foot wrong. He won every header and made sure Bradford Park Avenue’s strikers didn’t get a look in.
Moan of the match
4-0 is an excellent result but come the end of the season goal difference could be crucial. In the second half we could have had a few more and chances were squandered.
Moment of the match
Alex Simmons’ two goals in ten minutes were certainly a turning point in the match, not forgetting Big Tom’s one in the middle. So rather than moment of the match I’ve gone with ten minutes of the match this week.
Rob Brown
Man of the match
Alex Simmons. Two more goals and could have scored more. Makes a real difference to the team.

Hide AdThe Shaymen could and perhaps should have scored more goals. Bradford Park Avenue were a very poor team.
Moment of the match
A good save from Steve Drench only a minute after the Shaymen went two goals up. Would have given Bradford Park Avenue a real boost if they’d scored then.
