It's been a brilliant week of fun across Halifax and the great news is that there is still two days left of the annual Comedy Festival.

Today and tomorrow (Sat)at 2.30pm there’s Tea, Scones and Comic Songs at Westgate Cheese and Wine (£8) while on Saturday join in Comedy on the Street in Westgate Arcade (a free event).

There is a choice of three gigs tonight with the brilliant James Acaster taking the stage at Square Chapel 8pm (£15).

Half an hour later Dick and Liddy’s Comedy Club kicks off at the Victoria Theatre at £11 a ticket.

And over at The Shay there’s a full line up for Kickin’ Comedy including Kate Lucas, Cokey Falkow Middle, Seymour Mace and MC Dom Woodward. That starts at 8pm and tickets are £12.50.
